It’s a sad day in America. The Senate has granted immunity to the telecoms complicit in spying on Americans. The vote was 68-29 with 3 not voting. Senator Clinton and Senator Obama both did not vote on the measure.

The Herald goes on to report that a trade of O’Neal to the Phoenix Suns for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks has been discussed. One of O’Neal’s representatives told the newspaper that they were informed that talks with Phoenix were ongoing and serious.
