Toyota Venza - Love It Or Hate It

Toyota is going bold. So bold that it’s not the station wagon that everyone is calling it. Meet the Toyota Venza. Rolling out in 2009, Toyota calls it a segment buster. How about just a fattened-up Camry? And where did they get the name?
Engine choices include a standard 2.7-liter, four-cylinder motor or an 3.5 liter V-6 with 268 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.
Its major competition are the Ford Edge, Mazda CX-7, and Nissan Murano, which, IMO, are not very appealing to the eyes. It’s rather odd to have another crossover in the lineup. The Toyota Highlander gives a third row option than can be easily tucked away.
