uBid says they are the marketplace you can trust. Basically a wholesale liquidator with an auction system. Their bids starts at $1, but look closer.
A $1 bid for a 1GB Kingston MicroSD card sounds good to anyone. But looking further past the $7.07 12-month Extended Protection Plan and you’ll get to checkup on the shipping charge. $12.95 to ship one tiny MicroSD card. This is highway robbery. The charge looks to have nothing to do with shipping at all. As a Creative ZEN V Plus 4GB MP3 Player cost only $9.95 to ship.
But of course, considering that compared-at-price is $69.99 to $149.99 according to uBid you just saved yourself $148.99. (Cue the halo)
