Rockets Catch 22 Wins And First Place In The West

Rocket’s PG Rafer Alston puts up career highs on Sunday with 8 three pointers to will the Rockets past their conference rivals LA Lakers. With the win, the Houston Rockets takes sole possession of first place in the Western Conference.

Despite the Rocket’s Tracy McGrady not having score one single point until the 3rd quarter. Rockets led by 15 in the first half. The Lakers came on strong in the 3rd quarter with a 12-0 run. But Rockets eventually found their stroke late in the final quarter. Kobe Bryant had a hand in his face on almost every shot thanks to Rocket’s Shane Battier.

    Who would have thought Shane Battier is a Kobe stopper…
