Josh Smith Plays At Another Level

Published by chowsquid at 11:07 pm under nba

ATL, aka the Atlanta Hawks (aka the Hawks are in the playoffs?), shock the world by putting a smack down on the Boston Celtics.

Josh Smith doesn’t roll of the tongue of casual NBA fans, but he sure shined the brightest on against the Celtics in Game 3 of the playoff series versus between Boston and Atlanta. If people had a faint memory of this 2005 Slam Dunk Contest winner, they got their refresher gratis.

Josh Smith’s line:

27 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 steals, 1 block shot, 3 of 6 three pointers and 11-17 (65%) FG.

As one reporter puts it, “it seems like Josh Smith either had a dunk or a three pointer the whole game.”

Not a bad game to have.

Desperation time brings out the best of players. Boris Diaw of the Phoenix Suns had 20 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks. Spurs still leads the seriies 3-1. though.
