Kristy Lee Cook is the latest American Idol hopeful who got eliminated. She and Brooke White were in the bottom two. When asked, Simon said that Kristy’s time was up.

Before the elimination, the idols sang “One Sweet Day“, a duet by Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey. It sounded horrible! There was definitely something wrong with the sound mixing. The vocals were being overpowered by the band. This was also apparent when Mariah Carey sang “Bye Bye” from her new album “E=MC²“.

Now we’re down to six. Who’s next? The two Davids are just rocking the house. Brooke White has been losing favor lately. Carly Smithson just cannot connect with the listeners. Syesha Mercado is cute. Jason Castro needs to go.
