CNBC’s Portfolio Challenge: Horse Trading Without Horses
Update: Million Dollar Challenge has become a Million Dollar Dud. Trading issues has led to a false start on CNBC as all trades on Monday May 12th are canceled. Everyone gets to relive it again on Tuesday. Yeh!
Time to put your money where your mouth is…or just get lucky and win a million before stagflation hits the US. ($1,000,000 is only the prize pool…grand prize is a sucky half a million)
CNBC’s annual Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge starts Monday May 12th.

There’s ten total weeks you’ll need to survive to leave with the 1/2 million (sorta like a half marathon). Each week, there is a prize of the week to keep the losers happy.
The worthless crap includes 2008 World Series tickets (Zzzz..), Sony Style HD Home Entertainment Makeover (which can only make it worse), TAG Heuer for the losers that needs to be on time to punch in their time card, a Bentley for three days and two nights (which is only three years and two months out of style says Maserati), and ending with a trip for two to Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa (which may or may not be flooded by Al Gore’s tears).
Trading starts May 12th so Sign Up Now. You can have up to 5 portfolios if you are not that confident.
