Mike D’Antoni Says Ciao To The Phoenix Suns

Published by chowsquid at 7:25 pm under nba

It’s been fun and done for Mike D’Antoni and the Phoenix Suns. The now former run and fun coach of the Suns will set his sight on the New York Knicks.

The Knicks have made a home at the bottom of the NBA standing; placing no better than 12th since the 2003-2004 NBA Season where they finished 7th and made it to the NBA Playoffs. That was when Keith Van Horn and Allan Houston were lead by PG Stephon Marbury.

The 2007-2008 season, just like any other, contains players that don’t quite fit but cost the team a staggering amount of salary. It will be interesting to see if D’Antoni can turn around a historic franchise that has lost it’s way.

I thought Steve Nash and D’Antoni went hand in hand. Who’s gonna run and gun now?!?!?!
